Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism is a member-based organisation responsible for marketing the Fermanagh Lakelands area. It is driven by the local industry in partnership with Fermanagh & Omagh District Council and Tourism NI. Currently it has approximately 190 members from over 20 businesses that are directly and indirectly involved in tourism but who all benefit economically.
Fermanagh Lakeland Tourism’s mission is to showcase the Fermanagh Lakelands as an authentic tourism destination offering unique experiences. The organisation undertakes a range of marketing activities, collaborates with stakeholders, and supports our members to inspire and attract visitors from Northern Ireland and all over the world. We strive to weave sustainability through everything we do to ensure the tourism industry protects and enhances the Fermanagh Lakelands for the benefit of all. We work directly with the tourism industry regarding collaborative marketing opportunities and provide an additional marketing platform for members to promote their services and experiences. We undertake a wide range of marketing activity and strive to create standout for the region on all our marketing platforms. Our objectives include creating awareness of the region, growing membership, providing strategic leadership, conserving, and protecting the natural environment and heritage of the local community and promoting environmental awareness amongst tourists and local communities. We are funded through contributions from FODC and the private sector via their membership fees and collaborative marketing opportunities. Any additional revenue from the industry is reinvested in marketing activity.
