Brendan Kenny

Brendan Kenny has been the CEO of Ireland’s Association for Adventure Tourism (IAAT), since 2019. IAAT is the representative body for activity tourism operators on the island of Ireland. With over 200 members offering an incredible mix of outdoor experiences, IAAT has a mission to see Ireland recognised as a world class adventure tourism destination. 

Brendan’s career has seen him work in a number of different sectors – in Ireland, Germany and South Korea. 

Brenda currently sits on the board of the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC), and a variety of key forums including the Outdoor Tourism Partnership (with Tourism NI), Comhairle na Tuaithe (the Countryside Council), the Alliance for Insurance Reform and the European Confederation of Outdoor Employers. 

Brendan spends as much of his time in the outdoors as possible, and can usually be found chasing his two sons around the beaches, parks and forests of Ireland.
